Here is a slightly smaller version of our heavy 18k gold curb link, this one a chunky chain link bracelet that weighs approximately 108 grams. Each element of this bracelet is made entirely by hand: each individual link, the box clasp, and the tiny safety catches. (Over the years, Dan learned that the 18k gold clasps sold to manufacturing jewelers are flimsy and often require fixing — so he began making his own.) Our customer who commissioned the pictured bracelet aptly described the clasp as a “tiny sculpture.”

Each link is approximately 15.34mm in length; 11.97mm in width, and 5.02mm in depth. The entire piece is 7.25 inches in length, with a handmade clasp that includes both a latch mechanism and two safety catches. The links are finished with a classic faceted edge that reflects light in all directions and feels comfortable on the skin.
