Natural… rustic… organic…. and elegant.

This 6mm wide hand beaten platinum wedding band has been hammered with several different hammers, but is closest in aesthetic to our granite hammered bands. Slightly domed, the band’s profile is ideal for exhibiting the varying hammer strikes. Dan has finished the ring with a brushed finish, though polished is an option, as well.

Your ring will be made from scratch, from molten platinum. Dan will hard roll the stock for durability and finish the band to your preference. And because the metal is cold worked, hand forged bands like this one are denser and stronger than bands that are cast.

One of the noblest of metals, platinum has a wear characteristic that outlasts gold 10x to 1x. We use an alloy that is 95% platinum and 5% ruthenium.
