Dan has hand forged and lightly textured this stunning platinum double milgrain band with our honeycomb hammering. The glowing matte finish on the hammered portion of the platinum is juxtaposed beautifully with milgrain and polished, beveled edges. The ring is 7mm wide and 1.5mm thick.

Your ring will be made from scratch: Dan will pour an ingot of platinum, hand mill the stock, hard roll it, and finish it to your preference. Because the metal is cold worked, hand forged bands like this one are denser and stronger than bands that are cast.

One of the noblest of metals, platinum has a wear characteristic that outlasts gold 10x to 1x. We use an alloy that is 95% platinum and 5% ruthenium.
