We made this custom two tone hammered wedding ring with liner for a couple that wanted different colors and karats of gold for their wedding set, but still wanted to have a portion of the rings that came from the same source. When Dan alloyed the 18k yellow gold for the bride’s ring, he made a little extra to form a liner for the groom’s ring. The same ingot of gold, therefore, was the source for both the bride’s ring and the liner on the groom’s band.

This is a classic half round wedding band that has been hammered in our “granite” style of hammering, which has larger facets. This band is crafted from hand-milled stock that is 5mm wide and 2mm thick. It has a comfort fit profile, a satin finish, and an 18k yellow gold liner.

Your ring will be made from scratch: Dan will alloy gold, pour an ingot, hand roll the ring stock and finish the ring to your preference. Because the metal is cold worked, hand forged bands like this one are denser and stronger than bands that are cast.
