The matching rings of this platinum wedding band set will be hand-rolled from a single ingot of platinum that Dan has poured himself. The symbols of your devotion to one another, therefore, will be created from the same pool of molten platinum.

The larger band is crafted of hand-milled stock that is 6mm wide and 1.5mm thick. The smaller band is of stock that is 1.5mm wide and 1mm thick. These bands have been made in the classic half round style and finished with a polished finish, though a satin finish is also an option.

Platinum has an extremely high melting point (3236 degrees F), so working with raw platinum requires a big torch, dark glasses, and lots of fire. In the final picture, you can see Dan melting platinum and pouring the ingot.
