This beautiful hammered platinum ring is made from scratch. Dan starts by melting the platinum into an ingot and then hand-rolls the ingot into this particular size and width. Finally, the ring is hammered in our cobblestone style and finished to a high polish.

The sides of this band are left unhammered and smooth, for easy stacking. This listing is for a 2mm x 2mm half round band. The 2mm thickness allows for a comfort fit profile, wherein the inner edges of the band are beveled. We also can make a 2mm x 1.5mm half round band without the comfort fit profile.

A noble metal, platinum has a wear characteristic that outlasts gold 10x to 1x. We use an alloy that is 95% platinum and 5% ruthenium.
