This beautiful and timeless classic platinum wedding band is made from hand-milled platinum stock that is forged in the old world style. It is finished with a comfort fit profile, where the inner edges of the band “taper” or “roll” to the outer edge, and is shown with a brushed finish. Because the metal is cold worked, hand forged bands like this one are denser and stronger than bands that are cast.

A noble metals, platinum has a wear characteristic that outlasts gold 10x to 1x. We use an alloy of 95% platinum and 5% ruthenium in our platinum jewelry.

The pictured ring was made in 3mm x 2.25mm dimensions at the customer’s request. This is slightly thicker than our standard comfort fit ring, which we would make with 3mm x 2mm dimensions.  Please contact us if you’d like a quote for a ring that is not quite as thick.
